Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) to join our team in East Newark, NJ. The LDTC will be responsible for conducting evaluations, participating in eligibility meetings, and collaborating with school staff and families to support student success.

Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) Responsibilities :

Conduct educational evaluations and write comprehensive reports

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations

Collaborate with CST members, teachers, and parents to develop appropriate educational programs

Provide consultation and support to staff regarding student learning needs

Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC) Qualifications :

Valid NJ LDTC certification required

Experience in school-based assessments and IEP development preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
