Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO)

Piper Companies is currently looking for an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in Reston, VA to join a support team tasked with securing internal resources for a worldwide leader in technology. Responsibilities for the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) include :

  • Provide guidance and support to company FSOs and DISS users regarding the PCL process and general compliance
  • Communicate with government agencies when obtaining rulings and approvals for compliance regulations
  • Partake in security inspections and be able to compare policies and procedures with corrective action
  • Research security violations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications for the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) include :

  • 3+ years of professional FSO experience
  • Must have active TS / SCI CI poly
  • Strong knowledge of DISS
  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience

    • Compensation for the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) include :

  • Salary Range : $80,000-$150,000 based on skill level
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes PTO, bonus, Sick leave as required by law, and 401K
