Job Description

Join Shaffer Entertainment, an employee-owned business and industry leader in on-location entertainment products and innovations. We are seeking a dedicated FEC and Barcade Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of entertainment and amusement equipment. As a part of our team, you will be provided with a company car and iPhone, and will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for service quality, response time, and revenue generation. Responsibilities

Install and repair arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, and other amusement-related equipment.
Service ATM locations, including installation and filling.
Respond to service calls onsite at customer locations such as bars, restaurants, and family entertainment centers.
Install TVs, monitors, juke boxes, A / V and sound systems.
Set up WIFI, cabling, and networks.
Load and unload truck, drive and deliver equipment via 26' box truck
Work hours are generally M-F 8am-5pm with weekend on-call rotation once per month (Once every 5 weeks)

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with clean driving history

Candidate must be able to meet all DOT requirements including medical card, and the ability to pass a background check including criminal and driving histories.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic and mechanical assemblies.

Proficiency in the use of computers and associated hardware.

Experience with hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, etc.) and ability to perform preventive maintenance of games and equipment.

Prior experience as an Arcade, ATM, FEC, A / V or related equipment technician preferred.

Field Service experience preferred.

Ability to work evening / weekend and holiday rotation shifts as needed.

Able to lift up to 75 pounds

Must be at least 21 years old (some of our customers have age restricted entry)

Willing to work inside Bars / Taverns

Successful candidate must be organized, motivated and have a do-whatever-it-takes attitude.

Excellent customer interaction skills
