- Attend a morning stand-up to determine the day's priorities and plan future tasks with cross-functional teammates.
- Allocate roughly 65% of time to prioritized project work, 25% to improving the existing product portfolio, and 10% to creative exploration and functional initiatives.
- Use concept sketches, 3D design software, engineering and machine design knowledge, and hands-on experience to design, refine, and document tooling designs and machine components.
- Work with designers, developers, engineers, and tooling centers to ensure designs consider manufacturability of both the final product and related tooling.
- Communicate progress using various methods to keep key stakeholders informed.
- Collaborate with internal customers, external vendors, and global teams to ensure designs meet project needs.
- Stay current on critical skills through on-site training, conferences, or other activities to maintain performance.
