Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources Generalist will lead both administrative and strategic responsibilities to enhance staffing, onboarding, development, compensation, and benefits. This role aims to improve employee experience and departmental efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Leverage knowledge of new procedures and policies to improve employee experience and HR efficiency.
- Enhance new hire pre-boarding, onboarding, and benefits orientation / enrollment processes.
- Direct the annual open enrollment process and collaborate with brokers to select benefit offerings.
- Manage payroll processing including updates to employee files, bonus / incentive pay, vacation / sick pay, expense reimbursements, and benefits changes.
- Oversee employment files and perform data entry to ensure accurate HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and update policies as necessary.
- Support leaders and employees in managing employee relations opportunities, issues, or concerns.
- Coordinate various office events such as holiday parties, volunteering outings, and new hire lunches.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of HR experience, most recently as a generalist.Experience in the construction or related industry.HR certification required.Fluency in English and Spanish.High school diploma.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to train current HR generalists.Experience with Arcoro software or similar.Comfortable with a 'mom and pop' mentality and adaptable to a rapidly growing environment.Work Environment
The role requires being in-office every day. The work environment is dynamic and rapidly expanding, with a 'mom and pop' culture. The HR Generalist will be responsible for onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and general HR duties, while also helping to get other HR team members up to speed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
