Lead Mechanic – Bixby, OK 74008

Pay : $30 / hr | Type : Temp-to-Perm

Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of experience as an electrical / mechanical technician with 480 Volt and 12 / 24 Low Voltage Systems
  • Trade school education preferred, with emphasis on electrical, mechanical equipment, and metal fabrication
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in construction, repair, and operation of engines, pumps, and other mechanical equipment related to wastewater treatment plant operations
  • Understanding of safe work practices

Responsibilities :

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wastewater treatment plant equipment and related facilities
  • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, and specifications
  • Repair wastewater treatment plant equipment and instruments
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical / electro-mechanical operating and control systems, wiring, lighting systems, meters, outlets, and panels
  • Maintain and repair motors, pumps, and drives
  • Install new equipment following wiring diagrams, codes, and specifications
  • Maintain scheduled electrical and mechanical maintenance programs
  • Repair electrical and electronic instruments when needed
  • Work independently using standard and special electrical tools
  • Keep maintenance records, prepare labor and material estimates
