Summary of Job Duties

The Fitness Center Coordinator will assist in the overall management of the UAMS Fitness Center, develop and implement education and awareness fitness programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in fitness, exercise science, exercise physiology, athletic training, or kinesiology
• One year fitness center experience required.
• Certification for personal training by one of the following : ACSM, ACE, NSCA or NASM required. Additional group exercise instructor certification is a plus
