Lead Data Engineer

Overview

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Practice onsite in Chantilly and / or Herndon, VA. You will be a part of a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on transforming how Government clients extract insights from data to achieve critical mission objectives. This leadership role involves guiding a team and collaborating with others to implement this transformative process. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of complex, enterprise-wide, cloud-based data migration solutions that align with mission goals and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from various systems and networks, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Collaborate with cloud and system architects to establish secure and efficient data transfer protocols among different networks and systems.
• Work with data consumers to develop data requirements to support analytics and machine learning tasks.
• Implement data pipelines and data storage solutions to support analytic workflows.
• Optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance, ensuring low latency and high throughput for real-time and batch data processing.
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant data security policies and practices.
