Lateral Police Officer - Eligibility List

Our officers are committed to providing and preserving an excellent quality of life and safe community for the City of Ashland.

This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill future lateral Police Officer vacancies that occur within one year in the Ashland Police Department.

Lateral candidates must be certified and have at least one year of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer.

Incentive pay may apply for qualified candidates, including :

• DPSST Certification : 7% for Intermediate; 12% for Advanced
• Longevity pay : 3% for 10 years of service; 6% for 15 years of service; 9% for 20 years of service
• Educational incentive : 2% for AA; 3% for BA; 5% for MA
