Description : Position Summary :

• The QA / QC Inspector is responsible for performing inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and finished products in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• This role involves conducting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections and testing following documented procedures and specifications.
• The inspector accurately records inspection and test data as directed by written instructions and operates test and measurement equipment in accordance with procedural guidelines.
• They identify opportunities for improvement and may recommend changes to existing policies and procedures, including preparing and submitting change requests.
• Non-conformances are documented using the Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) system.
• The inspector participates in Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies under the direction of engineers or technicians and collects data for First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Testing and inspection activities are also performed in response to special test requests.
• The inspector may provide training to other inspectors and assists in the collection, analysis, and trending of quality data.
• Additionally, the role includes performing miscellaneous tasks as required to support departmental operations and supporting divisional initiatives aligned with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Data is input into required systems, with CATSWeb usage limited to running queries and entering lot and test data.
