S&ME is seeking Construction Materials Engineering Technicians of all experience levels to join our Construction Services team in Lexington, Kentucky. Whether you're just starting your career or you're an experienced technician looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!

Your Role : Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced

Our Construction Materials Engineering Technicians are essential to getting the job done right. From day one, you'll be in the field helping ensure that the materials used to build everything from restaurants to stadiums meet the right standards for quality and safety.

Just starting out? No problem, we provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and a clear path for growth. No two days are the same, and you'll gain valuable experience fast.

What You'll Do :

What to Expect :

With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), this physically active job involves outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions. You'll be walking over rough terrain, standing for long periods (up to 12 hours), lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment, and safely handling field tools and maneuvering equipment on active construction sites.

Experience shifting work hours based on project needs and weather conditions, including early mornings, some Saturdays, and overtime (paid at time and a half). Travel expenses (per-diem / lodging) are covered when assisting other offices.
