PrideStaff is working with a growing, global medical device company to find a detailed Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. This company is a distributor of medical devices and acts as the intermediary between the manufacturer and medical professional. The ideal candidate has experience in all aspects of shipping and receiving, and must have supervisory experience.

Hours : 9 : 30am 6 : 00pm Monday - Friday, Temp to Hire

Compensation : $25-$30 / hr

Location : Dover, NJ

Experience : 2 years exp

Responsibilities :

• Supervision and Training : Direct and train shipping and receiving personnel, ensuring they follow procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Shipping and Receiving Operations : Manage the process of receiving incoming shipments, verifying them against purchase orders, and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with other departments to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Shipping Coordination : Arrange for and coordinate outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve shipping and receiving issues, such as damage or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
• Communication and Reporting : Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and carriers, and prepare reports on shipping and receiving activities.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Efficiency and Productivity : Identify opportunities to improve shipping and receiving operations, such as optimizing workflows and implementing technology.
