6-12+ Month Contract Position

Location - Rosemont, IL (2-4 days a month onsite)

Our client is looking to add a UX Researcher / Designer enables change by working with our Business to define their needs and working with our teams to recommend User centric solutions. The UX Researcher will be a User Research advocate, identifying and removing roadblocks to research, and directing the research strategy for multiple enterprise products.

Responsibilities :

Determining and implementing the best UX research methodology to use for a particular product / feature.
Planning and conducting generative and evaluative research (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.).
Developing personas, user journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user needs.
Create deliverables such as process flows, wireframes, mockups and functional prototypes to effectively communicate design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
Oversee and contribute to screen development, based designs that align with user needs.

Qualifications :

BA / BS in IT, computer science, graphic design, information management, business or a related field or equivalent experience.

3-5+ years of experience as a UX Researcher / Designer

Experience planning long-term user research strategy.

A passion for uncovering pain points and delights in digital products, as well as helping to solve difficult user experience problems.

Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and product teams across multiple products.

Able to visualize and explain concepts on the fly using a whiteboard or the latest collaboration tools such as Mural as well as have stellar documentation skills with hands on experience with MS Visio for use case diagrams, cross-functional process flows and with Sketch or Adobe XD for wireframes, functional prototypes, user journeys, etc.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($65-$70). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and / or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
