Role : Electrician

Position Summary :
Responsible for maintaining electrical systems project-wide including in operating wellfields, the processing facility, and in offices and ancillary buildings. Also responsible for field connection of powerlines to wellfield transformers and motor control centers to allow for operation of new production areas. Work specified and performed will conform with specifications and requirements for building and safety code regulations in the State of Wyoming.
- Inspect, install, repair, adjust, construct, modify, calibrate, program, and wire all electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltages in the plant or assigned area
- Assist in the design and service of all types of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, radio controlled equipment
- Work with any type of integrating, indicating, or graphic electrical, electronic, or mechanical instruments and control equipment
- Ensure all equipment performs at par with safety and OEM specifications
- Work in normal manufacturing environment conditions
- Work a rotating shift schedule which may require overtime
- Lift materials and product up to 30 pounds
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, work boots, and hardhats
- Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
Requirements :
Electrical certification or technical degree with at least 5 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance & repair preferredAbility to read (in English) operating and maintenance instructions, procedure / equipment manuals, and electrical / mechanical schematic drawingsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence (in English)Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers (in English)Spanish as a second language beneficial but not requiredManual dexterity required for operating machinery and computersKnowledge of general manufacturing processes, procedures, and machineryKnowledge of word processing, development, design, internet, order processing, and project management softwareExtensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and Level I and II communication systemsUnderstand ladder logic and possess advanced troubleshooting skills with equipment software languagePrevious experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens equipment preferred but not requiredAble to work with a flexible or rotating schedule, which may require overtimeRead, write, and speak English clearly and effectivelyResponsibilities :
Maintain a good working relationship with operating personnel to maximize equipment reliability and uptimeResponsible for the electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment within the facilityAnalytically troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions back to OEM specificationsRoutinely check the performance of electrical equipmentMaintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and process work ordersEnsure a clean and safe work area and follow all PPE policies and safety rulesOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis (JSAs)Attend and participate in Line-Out meetings to communicate daily activities between maintenance shift crewsMake necessary equipment repairs during the shift to maintain equipment availability for productionComplete maintenance shift reports and corresponding paperworkParticipate in production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as it pertains to equipment reliability and availabilityPerform required daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual check sheets as established by the maintenance department and OEM suppliersPrepare reports, forms, records, and related paperwork for assigned areaEducation Requirements :
Minimum : High School Diploma or GEDPreferred : College degreeCompletion of IADC Rigpass, SafeLand, or Expand Energy approved equivalent orientation requiredPosition Details :
