Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience and a KY or compact PT license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is for inpatient physical therapy in an acute care setting
  • Work schedule is generally 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with flexibility for 8 or 9 hour days
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks with a rotation of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
  • Orientation is provided bi-weekly
  • Responsibilities include providing inpatient physical therapy and covering acute care needs
  • No local candidates will be considered due to the 100-mile radius rule
  • Assignment confirmation is required within 24 hours of accepting an offer
  • Internal policy does not allow travel pairs unless there are extenuating unit needs
  • Dress code and specific EMR details not specified

  • Minimum 2 years of PT experience in an acute care setting
  • Active KY or compact state PT license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification from AHA required
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
  • Must provide 2 professional references
