BerryDunn is currently seeking a qualified Accounts Receivable Specialist who will closely partner with our Manager of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This pivotal role involves comprehensive oversight of the end-to-end A / R process, encompassing billing, collection, and fostering streamlined reporting, analysis, and issue resolution. Notably, the position will entail frequent engagement with Principals and clients, with a focus on minimizing days sales outstanding and enhancing cash flow dynamics. This position will be based in our Portland, ME headquarters.

You Will

• Process daily check, electronic, and credit cards payments
• Deposit check payments to bank
• Prepare, review, and distribute monthly A / R reports
• Generate and distribute monthly A / R statements
• Monitor overdue accounts, and work closely with Principals and clients on effective issue resolution
• Provide banking details and complete EFT / ACH setup forms requested by clients
• Process credit card transactions submitted by clients through Authorize.net
• Assisting all staff with billing issues
• Maintain the Internal Accounting and Accounts Receivable mailboxes
• Compile and submit monthly A / R Journal Entry
• Balance cash receipts monthly
• Calculate and post monthly finance charges
• Complete financial analysis and special projects, as required
• Other tasks as determined by Manager of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Compensation Details

The hourly rate for this role is $28.00-$30.00 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate for the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
