Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Financials in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help promote a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive during assigned shifts, adapting to changing circumstances and site-specific needs.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience
  • A combination of at least 3 years of law enforcement, military, or adult corrections, or possess a completed bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
