Gastroenterology Physician

Position Overview HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for locum coverage in Washington. This role provides 24-hour call coverage bundled with the first 10 hours of ACU / clinical work , ensuring both daytime procedures and overnight call needs are fully supported. Assignment Highlights Confirmed Coverage Dates : 14 shifts per month Potential Extension : Coverage may extend through June 2026 Schedule : 24-hour unrestricted call (includes first 10 hours of clinical / ACU coverage, 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 AM) Patient Volume : 12-14 adult patients / day Team : Work with 2 other GI providers, hospitalists, and 2 APPs Setting : Inpatient-focused; privileges required for both clinic & hospital Hospital Size : 129-136 beds EMR : Epic (required proficiency) Observed Holidays : New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (7 : 00 PM prior day - 7 : 00 AM following day) Orientation : 8 hours (non-billable) HPA Healthcare is Joint Commission Certified Compensation ranks in the Top 12% nationally for GI locums Skills & Experience Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required) Active Washington license (required at submission) DEA & facility-required certifications Inpatient GI experience preferred Epic EMR proficiency
