Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Quality & Mission Assurance Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading aerospace and satellite communications company located in Midland, TX through 100% onsite work. The Quality & Mission Assurance AME will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of manufacturing processes and components supporting next-generation satellite systems. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in aerospace or automotive manufacturing, strong quality systems knowledge, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate product designs and manufacturing processes for quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards
- Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations and implement preventive measures
- Develop and maintain quality documentation including inspection plans, control plans, and process audits
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives
- Support mission assurance activities by ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and customer requirements
