Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Production Planner or Principal Production Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will support manufacturing planning related to aircraft manufacturing (composite, metallic, and assembly). This position is located in Palmdale, CA.

Responsibilities :

• Plans sequence of Material Handling, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portions of tools and product
• Plans detailed operations from blueprints, engineering orders, bill of materials and other engineering releases
• Determines the need for tooling and makes recommendations for the material, hardware and planning of required tools
• Prepares shop work orders, materials and product processing and coordinates with Managers to ensure that items are processed according to specifications and time requirements
• Maintains progress reports, Inventories, and other related records

Primary Level Salary Range : $54,400.00 - $90,600.00 Secondary Level Salary Range : $64,600.00 - $107,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
