About the "Department"

The outpatient infusion center is a healthcare facility where patients receive medications or therapies, often intravenously (IV), without being admitted to the hospital.

About The Career :

The Registered Nurse - Infusion Specialist will provide care and administer infusion therapies, monitor patients and record results on an outpatient basis . This position will also coordinate services with lab, pharmacy, community clinics and other entities participating in patients' care.

All About You :

Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a Degree in Nursing.

BLS required upon hire.

Three years of clinical experience that includes training in infusion therapy preferred.

Knowledge of infusion medications, hospital processes and policies for infusions.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Completion of infusion port access

Encompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communication and problem solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.
