We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager with strong expertise in Snowflake to lead our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Snowflake architecture, design, implementation, and optimization to drive our data warehouse initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the data engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of our Snowflake data warehouse

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure the accuracy and completeness of data pipelines

Develop and implement best practices for Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes

Work with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements

Manage the team's resources, including hiring, training, and performance management

Continuously evaluate and improve our data engineering processes, tools, and technologies

Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations

Qualifications

Studies Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

At least 5 years of experience in data engineering

Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, design, and optimization techniques

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Proficient in SQL, Python, and other programming languages

Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA (are a plus)

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team.
