🚨 IMMEDIATE OPENINGS – Field Customer Service Representative

Be the Face of Recovery. Help Families Rebuild After Hurricane Helene.

We’re urgently hiring Door-to-Door Outreach Specialists to support families in Western North Carolina counties impacted by Hurricane Helene. This is a mission-driven role —not sales. You’ll be the first point of contact for residents seeking FEMA disaster relief, helping guide them toward the resources they need to recover and rebuild.

💼 What You’ll Do

  • Walk assigned neighborhoods and engage residents directly.
  • Share vital information about FEMA disaster relief programs.
  • Collect contact details and assess interest in follow-up support.
  • Build trust through respectful, empathetic conversations.
  • Log visits and share resources using mobile tools.
  • Distribute flyers and educational materials.
  • Refer complex cases to specialized staff.
  • Submit daily progress reports.

    We need reliable, customer-facing individuals who :

  • Have great personalities and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Are comfortable engaging with the public in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Possess working, dependable vehicles and are willing to travel.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Are familiar with Western NC neighborhoods (preferred).
  • Can use basic tech tools (smartphone apps, GPS, data entry).
  • Are able to walk and work outdoors in various conditions.
  • 🌟 Bonus Skills

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a big plus.
  • Volunteer or outreach experience.

    This is an outdoor, field-based role requiring travel across neighborhoods in the counties listed above. Professional attire is required—you’ll be representing a trusted relief effort and engaging directly with the community.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 / hr.
