Overview
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Senior Solution Architect to join a financial services company in San Francisco, CA. This is a 12-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.
Base pay range : $85.00 / hr - $115.00 / hr. Pay is W2, with ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment; PTO and standard benefits may vary by contract terms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data mesh and data lake solutions, focusing on data ingestion, validation, and orchestration utilizing Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, and Immuta within AWS environments
- Create reusable data management and integration patterns and review them during architectural review boards
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to the data engineering team on best practices for implementing solutions with the core technology stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to design scalable data and analytics solutions that deliver measurable business value
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and data management best practices
- Optimize data pipelines, queries, and infrastructure configuration to improve overall system performance
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data engineering, ensuring data security, contingency, and compliance
- Lead and coordinate domain technical and business discussions on future architecture direction

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience with all aspects of projects from design through development, testing, implementation, and productionAdvanced knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools, specifically Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWSSubject matter expertise across multiple solution patternsStrong understanding of business processes within Client SystemDemonstrated experience building and leading successful teamsAdvanced skills in business enterprise knowledge and consultingAdvanced knowledge of emerging technologiesExpanded capabilities in strategic thinkingProgram KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
