Responsibilities

• Initiate correspondence with the marketplace of commercial insurance carriers and wholesalers.
• New Business placement and cross-selling as needed to maintain client's insurance program.
• Completion of Acord and carrier supplemental applications.
• Function as the primary contact with all companies to ensure proper processing of all requests necessary to effectively maintain the client's insurance program.
• Maintain positive client relationships and have the ability to analyze situations, make proactive decisions, and follow through.

Qualifications

Time management / multi-tasking : The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is solutions-oriented, thrives under pressure, enjoys fast-paced work, and is motivated by success.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting : good relationship skills; be a good listener; respect the expertise of others; and have the ability to motivate and generate effective action from all levels of the organization.

Passionate about insurance, helping businesses, creative problem solving, and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

At least 4 years of relevant work experience in commercial insurance or related function.
