Description :

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy renal medical-surgical unit.

This unit specializes in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions.

The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover.

Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients.

The RN will manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs.

Monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry is a crucial part of the role.

Collaboration with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams is essential to optimize patient outcomes.

There may be a need to float as required to similar medical-surgical units.

Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and strong critical thinking skills in a high-volume setting.

Epic proficiency must be clearly documented in the application.

A competency test will be required on the first day of employment.

Failure to pass the test will result in immediate termination of the contract.
