Maintenance Tech

A local progressive janitorial service company is currently seeking qualified, highly motivated, and skilled Maintenance Tech in the Downtown Denver area. We are seeking someone with previous experience as a Maintenance Technician. Someone with excellent people skills, maintenance skills, and bilingual in English / Spanish.

The ideal candidate will have preferably 2-5 years of janitorial management experience overseeing a wide range of facility types and sizes ranging from 100k-1mm sq. ft. single & multi-tenant facilities. Experience with Floor and Carpet Care is a Plus. A professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong leadership skills are a must. Other requirements are reading, writing, communicating in English, working with Microsoft Suite, and having a valid clean license.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• 2-5 years' experience with verifiable references
• Experience working indoor / outdoor and in various climates
• Minor electrical; Changing light bulbs
• Minor carpet repairs
• Minor plumbing
• Drywall patching
• Painting
• Tile and grout
• Doorknob repairs
• Properly and safely use tools and operate equipment : snow blower, pressure washer, hand tools, landscape equipment, etc.
• Maintain appearance of exterior grounds
• Replace ceiling tiles
• Pothole patching in the parking lot
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand, bend and walk throughout your shift Maintain maintenance / Janitor closet(s) (keep cleaned and organized) Professional appearance a must Attention to detail and proactively identifying problem areas as well as being able to properly analyze solutions to resolve issues

Working Environment & Conditions

The right candidate is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Must occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs. The job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
