Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Job Description & Requirements

~ Specialty : MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit

~ Discipline : RN

~ Duration : 13 weeks

~36 hours per week

~ Shift : 12 hours, nights

~ Employment Type : Travel

Unit Information :

Patient Population : Neuro Stepdown / Progressive Care patients

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio :

Progressive Care : 3-4 : 1

Med-Surg (when floated) : 4-5 : 1

Bed Size : Variable based on unit needs

Equipment Used : EPIC (EHR), PYXIS (med dispensing), Philips Defibrillator, Philips Bedside Monitors

Dress Code : Caribbean blue scrubs

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 2 years in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown nursing

Previous Neuro experience is required

Experience with drip titration preferred; if not, flexibility to float to Med-Surg / Telemetry units

Must have the ability to provide safe, effective care to neuro patients
