Radiation Oncology Physician Locums Position in Dubuque, IA - $400 hourly

Locums Radiation Oncology opportunity in Dubuque, IA where IN / Outpatient coverage and no call is needed. Here are some of the details :

Coverage Need / Schedule Details : Facility is looking for FULL TIME coverage only. Provider must be available to work 4 week stretches at a time. Provider can take some time off in between 4 week stretches, but cannot take time off within the 4-week block . .

Start Date : As soon as credentialed-Ongoing

Schedule :

  • Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm

Candidate Requirements :

  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • Active IA license or IMLC - REQUIRED (not accepting candidates who need to obtain IMLC or IA license)
  • COVID Vaccine - REQUIRED
  • Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing - REQUIRED (Facility can offer temp privs which is approx. 30-60 days)
  • MUST be available to offer coverage for 4 week stretches at a time - REQUIRED (notate at time of name clear)
  • Aria documentation - HIGHLY PREFFERED . Note experience at time of name clear.
  • Local / within driving distance - HIGHLY PREFERRED

  • Number of Physicians in Practice : 1
  • Will There be Other Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? No
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic / Office) : 20-25 on treatment with weekly treatment visits, follow-ups and consults
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT (Call / Rounding) : 0-1
  • Trauma Level 2
  • Adult patients
  • EMR : Aria
  • Required procedures : Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, External Beam Radiation - IMRT, External Beam Radiation - IGRT, External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Photon Beam Radiation Therapy, Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
  • Credentialing timeframe : Facility can offer temp privs which is approx. 30-60 days
