At Jim Brangham Auto Repair in Cathedral City, CA, we’re looking for a full-time Certified Automotive Technician to join our experienced, trusted team. As a family-owned business since 1994, we’ve proudly served the Coachella Valley with honest, reliable service, and we’re just getting started.

If you’re a skilled tech who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles (Domestic, Asian, and Hybrids), we offer competitive pay ($26-$38 / hour plus bonuses) depending on skills, a supportive work culture, and a team built on integrity and respect.

A Day in The Life :

Your day starts in a fully booked, well-equipped shop where the work is steady and the atmosphere is team-driven. You’ll take on everything from diagnostic work and electrical repairs to routine maintenance and digital inspections, knowing each vehicle represents a customer relying on your expertise. We specialize in AC service and general automotive.

You’ll work alongside skilled teammates who share your passion for quality work and a job well done. With no weekend shifts and a Monday-Friday schedule (7 : 45 AM-5 : 00 PM), you’ll have the work-life balance you deserve-plus the satisfaction of making a real difference for your team and community.

What We’re Looking For :

• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Strong skills in computer diagnostics, electrical systems, hybrid, and EV a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications preferred A8, A6, & L1, or willingness to get your certifications.
