job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services for the adult in custody population. Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays. Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications. Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing. Attend to medical emergencies. Record progress notes, recommend clinically necessary outside consultation, instruct and counsel, and order or carry out therapy. Emergency consultation to be performed by the contractor in instances where deemed necessary. Perform minor surgery utilizing local anesthesia during consultation visits. California Nurse License Driver's License BLS- AHA Certificate Graduation certification of a credited school. Continuing on-going medical education The contractor shall perform eight (1) hour sessions per day, 5 days per week excluding Federal Holidays. 7 : 30 am- 4 : 00 pm 30-minute unpaid lunch break HOTEL PROVIDED
