You will contribute to the Asset Protection strategy and partner with customer and associate groups to ensure a safe environment.

You Also Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as required
  • A valid region / market specific security license as per local regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to speak to Asset Protection practices and trends during team and leadership meetings
  • Awareness of retail procedures and civil / criminal processes is an asset
  • Working knowledge of retail security and information systems, and productivity software
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

    • As The Asset Protection Investigator, You Will

  • Build awareness and act as a role model for Saks OFF 5TH customer experience
  • Engage in store-wide communication regarding Asset Protection best practices, training, and safety meetings
  • Contribute to development and execution of local shortage strategy and audits
  • Maintain physical security standards and initiate timely adjustments
  • Support Asset Protection excellence by following policies to safeguard customers, associates, and assets
  • Detect and document shoplifting incidents using standard procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve Asset Protection strategies by compiling reports from audits and data
  • Aim for targets of investigative performance by addressing theft exposures and completing related reports
  • Conduct Asset Protection operational and self-audits in sensitive areas
  • Respond to after-hours alarm calls and emergency situations
  • Complete tasks and special projects as assigned by store leadership
