Assist surgical teams by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available. Monitor and advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process. Coordinate surgical procedures with the interdisciplinary team to optimize workflow and outcomes. Participate in a rotating call schedule (every third weekend and as needed during weekdays). Maintain accurate and timely documentation of intraoperative care. Flex to accommodate changing surgical caseloads and staffing needs, including possible shift cancellations due to low volume. Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience in an acute care setting. Recent OR circulator and scrub experience required. Orthopedic and gynecologic surgery experience is mandatory. Qualifications : Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current CPR (BLS) certification. ACLS and / or PALS certification preferred. Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical procedures, and perioperative nursing standards. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
