Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Working Foreman located in Knoxville, TN. The Working Foreman supervises, coordinates, and actively participates with construction crews on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This hands-on leadership role requires technical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to manage teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct laborers and subcontractors, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity
• Interpret blueprints and project plans to guide crew activities
• Monitor work quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers to align on schedules, materials, and resource needs
• Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Track daily progress and provide updates, including photo and video documentation, within the company CRM
• Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development and teamwork
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials on-site, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and inventory
• Ensure job sites are prepared, maintained, and cleaned up in a professional manner
• Address on-site issues and escalate concerns to project managers as needed
• Additional duties as needed

Working Conditions

Travel as needed. Business work hours consist of Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM in the office as well as at the project job site(s).

Physical Requirements

Ability to visit and inspect construction sites, including walking, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain. Ability to lift 100 pounds.
