Design Engineer I - EP

Responsibilities :

• Works with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages.
• Supports the preparation of simple designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings.
• Leads the development of their discipline's design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses.
• Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic.
• Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews.
• Leads the development of their discipline's design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple technical analyses.
• Applies technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specifications.

Requirements :

Most of the year, will be remote, teams were in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays – transmission has more in-person meetings and more client interaction close to Lisle. Day trips around the state – visiting projects and client meetings

Working with local natural gas companies.
