Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular IR experience and EVAR proficiency.
Responsibilities
Work in a Hybrid OR Suite equipped for advanced vascular interventionsPosition is located within a Level I Trauma and Teaching HospitalUnit serves both inpatient and outpatient populationsProcedures include angiography, stents, angioplasty, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, and dialysis graft interventionsNeurovascular and abdominal / pelvic interventions such as carotid angiography, embolization, mesenteric angiograms, vertebroplasty, and TIPS are performedMust be able to operate GE Innova IGS, C-arm, and PACS systemsSchedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM), Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 125 on-call hours per monthFloating to other units within the organization is required as neededResponsibilities include performing advanced interventional radiology procedures and maintaining imaging equipmentMust complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly following contract signingEducation must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited programLocal candidates are accepted at the same rateFormer employees are eligible after a 6-month break from facility employmentCurrent employees of Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible as travelersAll requested time off must be submitted with initial considerationRequirements
Minimum 1 year of vascular interventional radiology experience requiredMust have proven experience with Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification requiredACLS and ARRT(VI) certifications preferredExperience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital is preferredProficiency with angiography, vascular procedures, neurovascular, abdominal and pelvic procedures, fluoroscopy, and PACS operationsMust be able to provide two professional references, with at least one from a managerial or leadership roleLicense required if applicableBenefits
