Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid Onsite once a week)

Duration : 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Lead to oversee and coordinate small-to-medium IT operational projects. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, while ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to build effective relationships across IT teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage IT operational projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including project scope, schedule / plan, communication plans, cost analysis, CAB documents, training plans, contingency plans, and transition / support plans.
• Communicate project expectations, progress, and status updates clearly to sponsors, team members, and stakeholders through meetings and reports.
• Identify and manage project milestones, dependencies, critical paths, risks, and issues while developing contingency plans as needed.
• Request and coordinate project resources, facilitate collaboration across departments, and assign tasks to achieve project goals.
• Compile formal business and technical documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
• Use MS Project to track progress of tasks, deliverables, and milestones.
• Utilize tools such as MS Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Visio, and WebEx to manage and communicate project activities.
