At H&K Electric, you’ll be part of a team that takes pride in doing the job right — and doing it safely.
What You’ll Do Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities , including conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and motor controls.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and configuration.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national codes (including the NEC ).
Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet project timelines.
Mentor apprentices and assist in developing the next generation of skilled electricians.
Follow all OSHA , IBEW , and company safety guidelines at all times.

What We’re Looking For Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific requirements apply) or nearing completion of apprenticeship.

Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial and / or industrial electrical work.

Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, and electrical codes.

Proficiency with conduit bending (EMT, RMC, PVC) and installation.

Experience with lighting systems, fire alarms, PLCs, and motor controls preferred.

Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test and join the IBEW Union .
