Operating Engineer
The posted compensation range of $22.50 - $22.50 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Operating Engineer at CHI St. Vincent, you will help ensure that our medical staff and patients have a safe and comfortable environment so they can focus on providing and receiving the highest quality care.
Every day, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout our healthcare facility. You will be expected to respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience as an Operating Engineer in a healthcare setting or similar environment. Your in-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems will be essential to maintain the integrity of our facility's infrastructure and contribute to the well-being of our patients and staff.
