Job Overview : A leading creditors' rights law firm is seeking a talented Lead Associate Attorney for its Georgia office. This full-time, hybrid position provides an exciting opportunity for candidates with 3-5 years of litigation or collections experience. The ideal candidate will manage hearings, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to the firm's Georgia practice. A Georgia Bar membership is required, with additional compensation for candidates licensed in multiple states.
Location : Duties :
- Assist with the firm's Georgia practice and oversee litigation matters
- Handle hearings and contested matters in the state of Georgia
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys
- Monitor the progress of cases and develop strategies to bring matters to resolution
- Review documents, financials, notices, and demand letters prior to filing actions
- Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate legal actions
- Ensure all internal systems are updated with findings, documentation, and recommendations
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
- Safeguard compliance with relevant state and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements
- Participate in discovery and trial preparation
Requirements :
3-5 years of litigation or collections experience (preferred)Strong interpersonal and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, volume-based environmentProficiency in drafting motions and handling routine, uncontested hearingsAbility to work independently and efficientlyBar membership in Georgia (required)Additional bar memberships in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and / or Pennsylvania are a plusEducation :
