Common Diagnosis / Treatment : Top 10 Diagnosis / Procedures : Top 10 Diagnosis / Procedures : Acute respiratory failure, Septic Shock, Cardiogenic Shock, Multi-organ failure, STEMI, acute on chronic renal failure, altered mental status, DKA

# of Beds : 16

Nurse to Patient Ratio : typically, 1 : 2

Charting : Cerner Millenium

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Areas of Float Support : Yes, typicall 1 per week 2x per month

Special Procedures : Arterial line insertion, bronchoscopy, intubation, central line insertion, chest tube insertion

Notes :

Common Equipment : Alaria pumps, Nihon Koden monitoring, lift equipment, Arctic Sun (TTM), Rotoprone beds

Titrate Vasoactive Drips - norepinephrine, epinephrine, Dopamine, phenylephrine, Dobutamine

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, ICU

Experience : 2 years

Licenses : RN-CA

Certifications : BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA
