HiFyve is hiring a PLC and Controls Technician in the Automation & Controls Industry!
Hourly Pay : $40–$45 / hour
Benefits : Full medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, and all travel expenses paid
Travel : 50%–60% (nationwide)

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation and control systems in correctional facilities
- Integrate and support touch screen panels connected to systems like lighting, water, HVAC, door locks, and intercoms
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic
- Perform on-site testing and commissioning of systems at customer locations
- Travel frequently to job sites across the U.S. (air travel and extended stays required)
- Provide remote and on-site technical support during and after installation
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure system integrity and functionality
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations, updates, and field modifications
Requirements :
3+ years of experience in controls, automation, or PLC systems (Allen-Bradley or similar)Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layoutsProficient with HMI or touch panel interfacesWilling and able to travel 50–60% of the timeExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license and ability to pass extensive background checks requiredPrior experience in correctional, industrial, or facilities-based automation is a plusWhy Join Us :
