The Server is responsible for providing outstanding table side customer service during a guest’s visit to the restaurant. This position strives to meet and exceed customer’s needs while dining and goes above and beyond to deliver a lasting experience for the guest. The starting pay rate for this position is $2.83 / hour plus gratuities.

Essential Job Functions
Welcome guests to the restaurant in a professional and courteous mannerMemorize the restaurant menu including daily specialsMake dining suggestions based on guests’ wants and needsTake all orders for food and beverageEnter orders using a POS systemConsistently enforce liquor laws in accordance with state and federal guidelinesServe customer orders with high level of accuracyEnsure guest dietary needs are met with assistance of back of the house staffRepeatedly check-in with guests during meal service to ensure all requests have been met and exceededAssist with clearing table during and after meal serviceSuggest additional menu items to the guest during their serviceAssist host(ess) to make sure all menus and silverware are prepared for servicePrepare checks and receive payments from guestsAssist with the preparation of food and drink items when necessaryClean restaurant space including tabletop, floors, and other exposed surfaces when necessaryCarry bus trays to the kitchen for washing and assist with washing as neededAdjust table set-up as needed to accommodate large partiesAll other duties as assignedRequirements :
Previous experience as a server in a restaurant environment18 years of age or olderDependable transportation to and from workLanguage skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communicationAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessaryAvailability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as neededAuthorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications

Work environment : Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds. The team member will primarily work in a kitchen environment with fluctuating temperatures that can become hot, humid and / or wet, especially in the dish room areas.Physical requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.Lifting requirements : The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and / or move up to 10 lbs regularly, and up to 30 lbs occasionally.Noise Level : The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.Work schedule : The work schedule may fluctuate to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
