About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Clinic / Ambulatory

Profession : RN (Registered Nurse)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : RN licensure required

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

Must have experience in patient assessment and clear communication.

Must be willing to float to endocrinology, Infectious Disease, and wound care.

Description :

This position involves rooming patients, responding to patient messages, and answering patient phone calls.

Responsibilities include completing prior authorizations and administering medications, including vaccinations.

The RN will be responsible for refilling medications and coordinating care.

Patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions are key components of this role.

Collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, is essential for planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

The RN must demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge.

Utilization of appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting is required.

The RN will function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.

Epic charting will be utilized in this role.

The work environment includes an ambulatory setting with a team of healthcare professionals.

The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs.
