Founded 50+ years ago, we are a full-service public accounting firm based in Georgia. Our team offers a wide range of financial services including tax advisory, accounting, assurance and business consulting. We are growing and looking to add an Audit Associate to the mixture.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in executing audit assignments for various clients, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls while providing valuable insights to enhance financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for external clients.
  • Evaluate internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and review financial statements for accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure audit procedures are followed effectively.
  • Identify areas for improvement in clients' financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2+ years of experience in auditing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of audit principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with ASU and compliance regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and internal controls.
  • CPA certification is desirable, CPA track is required.
