The Children’s Connection Associate provides a range of group therapy programming services and activities for children, youth and their families affected by incarceration. The Children’s Connection Associate is a part-time, hourly position. Internships available.

Personal Qualifications :

• Degree in social work, family therapy, counseling or other equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures and standards
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Knowledge of community mental health resources
• Compassionate and accessible approach with youth
• Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
• Ability to work independently
