The University of Missouri Department of Pediatrics seeks to expand its expertise in immunomodulation and translational research, by hiring an Assistant / Associate Professor for a tenure-track
position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
approaches for the treatment of type 1 diabetes.
pancreatic islets or beta cells derived from stem cells.
Translational Research Program to support the objective of becoming a nationally
recognized program seeking a cure for type 1 diabetes.
mutual interest to promote the Institutions academic and research mission.
lectures, and seminars, supervising and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
during clinical rotations, and overseeing research projects conducted by graduate students,
postdocs, and junior researchers.
Minimum Qualification : PhD
Canidates will be evaluated on : a distinguished record in research relevant to type 1 diabetes or immunomodulation
