LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a local contract job in Richardson, Texas.

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Job Type : Full-Time

Location : Richardson, TX

  • New graduates will be considered if they had SNF experience during their clinical rotations.

    • Job Description :

  • Screen, evaluate, and treat patients according to physician referrals and established care plans
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Develop individualized, measurable treatment goals to maximize patient function and independence
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Technicians in accordance with state regulations
  • Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans with patients, families, and healthcare team
  • Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and periodic re-evaluations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, daily treatments, and discharge summaries
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and ongoing care
  • Attend in-service trainings and continuing education for license maintenance and skill development

    • Requirements :

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
  • Ability to supervise support staff in accordance with state regulations
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 250 lbs with assistance)
  • Must pass post-offer drug screening and physical exam, if required
  • Must meet all local health regulations
  • Ability to document accurately and timely per company standards
  • Willingness to travel to other sites and work variable shifts as needed
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
