We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor with 5+ years of professional editing experience who specializes in crafting engaging, compelling, and persuasive content.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of marketing, persuasion, and consumer psychology, and has a proven track record producing high-performance video assets for paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

This role requires not just technical editing expertise, but also a marketing mindset—knowing how to structure and cut content to maximize attention, engagement, and conversions.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content tailored for paid advertising campaigns.
  • Transform raw footage into polished, high-performing ads optimized for scroll-stopping engagement.
  • Apply principles of storytelling, marketing, and persuasion to maximize audience impact.
  • Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and strategy teams to bring campaign concepts to life.
  • Stay on top of trends in social media, advertising, and editing styles to keep content fresh and competitive.
  • Deliver projects on time in multiple formats optimized for various platforms.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience (agency, brand, or direct-to-consumer e-commerce experience highly preferred).
  • Proven track record of editing successful ads for paid media campaigns.
  • Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and persuasive editing techniques.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing metrics (CTR, conversions, hook & hold rates for retention measurement) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing ads and marketing-driven content is required.
  • 100% Remote, flexible work.
  • Competitive contractor compensation : $1,500–$2,500 / month .
  • Work on high-growth brands with large-scale ad spend.
