Seeking a Production Designer for "Crawfish," an experimental film and stage play hybrid that tackles the story of a man who goes from "housed" to "unhoused." This is a SAG Ultra-low budget (otherwise, non-union) feature with several name-actors, from the producers of Oscar winning films and award-winning theatre, benefiting Bay Area theatre programs and national homeless non-profits. The entire cast and crew, including producers are on a Most Favored Nations equitable day rate with back-end points for all involved (similar to this year's Academy Award nominated film "SING SING"). SEEKING Bay Area local collaborators. This project will shoot for a few days starting March 1 and then pick up again for a week or so in late April, all in the Bay Area. The is a limited budget, but a fun and even important project that all of us are passionate to create.

Experience

Seeking collaborators experienced in narrative films. Some of our scenes are period (1980s), having good resources for local props and set dec pieces is important. We will be shooting in Palo Alto, San Francisco and Oakland. Local to the bay area is important.
